VOLUNTEER DRIVERS NEEDED

Volunteer drivers provide crucial out-of-town transportation to medical appointments. Volunteer drivers receive mileage reimbursement and paid trainings while providing this essential community service.

For more information on how to become a volunteer driver with CAP, please contact: (360) 261-6236 or (360) 200-4910.

Senior Transportation

Senior Transportation (Cowlitz and Wahkiakum seniors, age 60 and over), is a free service (donations appreciated). It is for residents living outside of the River Cities service area to come into Longview/Kelso for medical appointments, and for all senior residents to get to medical appointments in the Portland-Vancouver area south, and as far north as Olympia. This service is limited to two (2) round trips per month per client and depending on driver availability. Residents of assisted living facilities are not eligible for this service.

Call CAP to schedule your senior transportation ride:

360-200-4911 or 360-200-4910.

Medicaid Transportation

CAP and Medicaid are working together to assist you with your transportation needs. Medicaid transportation is provided to any individual who is eligible for Medicaid and authorized by the Medicaid Transportation Brokerage in Vancouver.

For qualifying information or to schedule rides, call Medicaid Screeners toll free at 1-800-752-9422 and request service from CAP. Medicaid will call CAP to schedule the ride for you.

Note: CAP cannot schedule your ride.
