Senior Transportation
Senior Transportation (Cowlitz and Wahkiakum seniors, age 60 and over), is a free service (donations appreciated). It is for residents living outside of the River Cities service area to come into Longview/Kelso for medical appointments, and for all senior residents to get to medical appointments in the Portland-Vancouver area south, and as far north as Olympia. This service is limited to two (2) round trips per month per client and depending on driver availability. Residents of assisted living facilities are not eligible for this service. We have very limited driver availability so schedule at least a week ahead of your appointment. With only 2 volunteer drivers, you are encouraged to check with other resources (family, friends, neighbors, etc.).
The Cowlitz Indian Tribe also offers rides to medical appointments as far away as Vancouver. You do not have to be a tribal member to use their service. You can reach them at (360) 232-8585.
Call CAP to schedule your senior transportation ride: 360-261-6901.
