During October, employees from Cowlitz PUD, Kapstone, NORPAC, Weyerhaeuser, Fibre Federal Credit Union, Steelscape, Lower Columbia College, and the International Longshore Warehouse Union (ILWU) are engaged in a food fight to see which team can collect the most food and donate the most money to Help Warehouse.

(L-R) Kapstone team members Mary Beam, Larry Chambers, Vicki Hesselgesser, and Sarah Bartel delivered another 248 lbs.of food Tuesday morning.
Help Warehouse is the food collection & distribution center for the 8 Cowlitz-Wahkiakum food banks and 14 USDA Commodities distribution sites.
They have already collected 7,242 pounds of food and $1,479.25 in money to buy food.
The community can support their favorite team by donating food or money in the team’s name, either at the company itself or at CAP.
